Our Grading Policy

80% assessments (50% formal assessments, 20% for Exit Tickets, and 10% classwork) + 20% academic habits (10% participation and 10% homework)

• Students will be able to retake assessments unlimited times throughout the course of the quarter. Students will be given multiple opportunities to take different versions of the test to increase their grades. Teachers are responsible for retesting students either during class time or Focus.

• Student participation, classwork , exit ticket and homework grades will be reflected on the DeansList points given to them each day. If they are absent, they do not receive these points, but can receive homework and classwork points for late work turned in the next day (within 24 hours of returning to school, unless prolonged absence which will be handled on a case by case matter).
