John Michael Entrekin
John Entrekin is a passionate director. He leads these students to victory every day! He comes to the school loaded with energy and doesn't ever stop teaching. Mr. Entrekin finds new, fun ways to keep students involved and motivated to learn. From sixth grade to twelfth, he is inspiring young leaders everyday! Mr. Entrekin, or Mr. E as we call him, will take on any challenge coming his way. And he teaches his students to do the same.
Mr. Entrekin will be going into his third official year of teaching in the upcoming school year. He will be solely teaching at Emerald High School in the 2025-2026 school year.

Andi Acord
Andi Acord serves as the band director at Westview Middle School and the assistant band director at Emerald High School. Mrs. Acord obtained her Bachelor of Music Education from Anderson University and her Master of Education from the University of South Carolina.
Mrs. Acord has taught music at all levels, K3-12th grade. She was named Teacher of the Year at John C. Calhoun Elementary School in 2019. In addition to her role in the band program, she serves as a master teacher for the Arts Assessment Institute, one of the Arts Institutes hosted by the South Carolina Department of Education.
Mrs. Acord resides in Greenwood with her husband Aaron and two daughters, Reagan and Emmy.
