Metasurfaces

Electromagnetic (EM) metasurfaces are the two-dimensional version of metamaterials that can mimic the same functionality of the metamaterials by controlling the phase, magnitude, and polarization of the EM wave.  Based on the metasurfaces, innovative meta-devices can be realized such as broadband EM absorbers, EM detectors, and reconfigurable reflective/transmissive meta-antennas.
