TEST OF ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION (TOEIC)
TEST OF ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION (TOEIC)
The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is an internationally standardized test designed to assess the everyday English language skills of non-native speakers working in an international environment. It is produced by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and widely used by corporations and organizations worldwide. The TOEIC program includes several types of tests:
TOEIC Listening and Reading Test: This test evaluates listening comprehension and reading skills. It consists of 200 multiple-choice questions based on authentic examples from international professional situations such as meetings, travel, interviews, and telephone conversations.
TOEIC Speaking and Writing Tests: These tests assess speaking and writing abilities. They provide a comprehensive evaluation of language proficiency in real-world contexts.
TOEIC Bridge® Tests: The TOEIC Bridge test is a shorter version of the TOEIC Listening and Reading Test. It is suitable for beginner to intermediate English learners.
The TOEIC program sets the standard for assessing English-language communication skills needed both in the workplace and everyday life. If you’re preparing for the TOEIC, effective practice and understanding the test structure are essential. Good luck with your language journey!
