My 30-year journey in education began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala. I have taught in Chicago and Green Bay, earned an M.Ed. from the University of Illinois. I was a Fulbright teacher in Mexico City. Currently I am an English Language Fellow in Tuxtla Gutiérrez.

Actualmente colaborador dentro del Sistema Infantil Teletón, en el Centro de Rehabilitación e Inclusión Infantil Teletón, La Paz, Baja California Sur desde el año 2020 a la fecha, ocupando los cargos como terapeuta de Lenguaje en atención a estimulación temprana, trastornos de los sonidos del habla, trastornos del desarrollo del lenguaje, síndrome de Down, disfagia, trastornos auditivos, disfagia y voz.

Dr. Hugues has a PhD. in Humanities with emphasis on Foreign Language Teaching and a master's degree in Educational Innovation. She is a tenured professor in the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Sonora.  Her academic interests are related to identity, interaction, emergent teaching methodologies, and technology. 

Dr. Mónica Preciado holds a PhD.  in Applied Linguistics and a Masters in Bilingual- Bicultural Education. She is a full-time lecturer in the B.A. in ELT at Universidad de Sonora. Her research interests include peer interaction in instructed language learning, task-based language teaching, and learner engagement in the EFL classroom.

Arely Luna is an EFL teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree with honorary mention in ELT from the Universidad de Sonora. Besides her experience at different levels, she promotes digital resources in the EFL field and is a recent member of the Youth Council of the U.S. Consulate in Hermosillo. 

My name is Armando, and I´m currently studyng in the ByCENES. Art has helped me channel the energy that ADHD brings. I found calm in drawing and playing guitar, allowing me to express myself in ways that words couldn’t. Through art, I discovered a way to focus and find peace. 

Doctora en Educación Especial y Maestra en Tecnología Educativa por el Tecnológico de Monterrey. Ha participado en intercambios educativos en Francia y Reino Unido. Su experiencia profesional gira en torno a la enseñanza de lenguas modernas y el aprendizaje autónomo principalmente en los CAA desde hace más de 25 años. 

I am a dedicated fifth-semester student at the Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal del Estado de Sonora. I have experience presenting my work at a congress called CONISEN, and I am also highly devoted to my students and their learning process. 

Third yeah university student of Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal del Estado de Sonora, with a bachelor’s degree in primary education.

Mtro. Diego Donaldo Jocobi Mantes is a soon-to-be graduate in Primary Education with certifications in IELTS and Oxford Test of English. He is focused on language proficiency and educational development.
