Sarah Warfield is a Senior Lecturer in the English for Academic Purposes program at NYU Shanghai. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, she was a Fellow and Fellow Coordinator for the English Language Fellows Program, a program of the U.S. Department of State. She is currently an English Language Specialist in the English Language Fellows Program, providing training and program support to language instructors around the world. She has taught academic English at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Indiana University, Bloomington, the University of Kentucky, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Jinan University in Guangzhou, China. She has been training and mentoring teachers in academic language programs for over 15 years. She is an active member of the TESOL International Association and the American Association for Applied Linguistics.
