Purpose of this tool

The Program Support Tool will be used for the equitable, transparent and consistent supports and services that may be needed by program educators to further enhance the inclusion of all children and families.

This tool will allow the Early Learning Resource Program (ELRP) and the Early Learning Quality Initiative (ELQI) to look at patterns for possible future professional learning opportunities within your centre, as well as the community. The educators completing the tool together will establish goals they would like to work on; focusing on 1 to 3 goals at a time is realistic.

The documented goals/priorities identified after completing this tool will also provide documentation to enhance the universal support for all offered through the Early Learning Resource Program (ELRP). 

Educators will complete this tool together (educators within the room working together) by indicating how often each indicator is visible within the room/program.

Your Early Learning Coordinator will be available to answer any questions about this process. Educators are also welcome to invite their Early Learning Coordinator from the Early Learning Resource (ELRP) team to think with them as they are looking to establish goals.
