Interview with Jordan Pugh: CorePower Instructor
Ellie: Why did you decide to become a core power instructor?
Jordan: I decided to become a CorePower instructor because it was a great opportunity to expand my work experience and do something I love while living a college lifestyle at the same time.
Ellie: What is your favorite part about being an instructor?
Jordan: My favorite part about being an instructor at CorePower is that I get to be part of a community outside of TCU and meet new people
Ellie: What is your favorite part about taking classes?
Jordan: My favorite part about taking classes is the motivating and energetic environment I feel at Corepower that pushes and challenges me.
Ellie: What do you believe the benefits are of core power yoga on your mental health?
Jordan: I believe CorePower benefits my mental health because I get to escape any stress I have with the school and focus my mind on instructing and empowering a class full of people.
Ellie: What would you say to someone who wants to try core power but doesn't believe that they can handle it?
Jordan: I would tell them that Core Power is for everyone no matter a person's skill level or experience. I would mention that there are a variety of classes as well as variations within the class that allow anyone and everyone to feel strong and encouraged when taking a class.
Ellie: How has your life changed since starting core power?
Jordan: My life has changed in many ways but the most notable change I have seen is that I have gained leadership skills and the ability to feel comfortable speaking to and leading large groups of people.
