Today I went down to the stream next to my house to collect my samples. I went bright and early at 8 am to get the majority of everything done before the 10 am meeting because I had a college soccer tryout camp this afternoon. When I was down at the stream in the morning it was a nice 62 degrees out and the sun shone through the trees. I noticed that it was a lot less buggy when I went down in the morning than when I went back down mid-day to collect my E. coli sample. It was a great start to my day to relax, sit on a rock, and sketch my surroundings.
