Growing up...

Growing up, I have seen rapid technological growth and with that the environmental damage we cause. Even at a young age with no concept of climate change and understanding of the sciences I could tell the rapid urbanization in my area was something to dread. The once beautiful California canyons and scrub environment to be replaced by appartments or an even bigger Walmart. I always loved animals and felt a connection to nature and to see each new place I moved to be destroyed by the rapid urbaization of San Diego always made me feel bitter and sad. I am passionate in finding a way to work with technology and nature, to a new sustainable future and aiding environmental law makers have an incentive to enforce new policies. 

My hobbies

I am a very outdoorsy and creative person!

I have a 60 lbs Doberman pinscher named Sevyn, whom I take with me on all kinds of hikes and strolls. She is my best friend and adventurer. She loves the outdoors just as much as I (she does love her ball more, though), and she keeps me super active. Outside of my walks with her, I surf, scuba dive, and go horseback riding. Anything that keeps me outside, I love and love doing!
