Prof Sharrow competed for the University of Minnesota Women's Rowing team as a collegiate athlete.  From 2002-2007, they worked as the Assistant Varsity coach.  In 2007, the team won the Big Ten Women's Rowing Championships and placed 6th at the NCAA National Championship.
