I’ve just been on a holiday where we met some very inspiring people. That made me think about an often-used saying that we are the average of the people we surround ourselves with. Oprah Winfrey once wisely said, "Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher." These words carry profound wisdom that can transform our lives.

In the journey of life, we face countless challenges and obstacles. But remember, it's the people in your corner who will make all the difference. When you surround yourself with individuals who inspire, support, and believe in your dreams, you're setting yourself up for success. Just as an eagle soars high with the wind beneath its wings, your spirit can soar when you're surrounded by those who uplift you. These are the people who encourage you to chase your aspirations and embrace your potential. However, beware of negative influences and energy vampires. Those who bring you down, sow seeds of doubt, or stifle your growth have no place in your journey. 

To reach new heights, you must consciously choose those who will elevate your spirit. Gravitate towards those who believe in your dreams, nurture your growth, and elevate your spirit. Surround yourself with individuals who inspire you to become the best version of yourself because when you do, there's no limit to how high you can soar.

Your mentor should be one of the people in your life lifting you higher, offering you guidance and support when and where you need it. They should have the business/ life experience and contacts to propel you towards your dreams.
