Here is the trailer I created to promote the game. I believe it effectively showcases the basic gameplay loop and mechanics, making it appealing to new customers and players interested in the card game.
Gameplay Mechanics:
Players and Setup: The game requires a minimum of three players. A scenario is presented to the group, such as "Jack goes to the shop."
Teams and Objectives: The players are divided into two teams. One team aims to prevent the scenario from happening, while the other team tries to make it happen. The game includes two types of cards: item cards and scenario cards.
Example Play:
The team against the scenario might use a card with a fire symbol and say, “Jack can’t go to the shop because he’s on fire.”
The team supporting the scenario might counter with a water symbol card, saying, “Jack can go to the shop now because water has been poured over him.”
Counterplay:
Teams take turns countering each other’s moves. Each round, a judge is selected to determine which team wins. Teams are rotated each round to keep the gameplay dynamic.
Even Number of Players: If there is an even number of players, there can be two judges or a free-for-all, allowing players to decide. Each team receives five cards per round.
Custom Cards: Some cards are blank, enabling players to write their own symbols or sentences. These custom cards can only be used once per round and are rare within the item pack.
