I’m Elisa, an Italian artist born in 1998. My background includes a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a specialization in Art Therapy.
My visual practice takes shape intuitively, guided by materials and by the process itself. During execution, the concreteness of the tangible and the gesture intertwines with my inner experiences. My individual history is not told directly, but it influences what I create and the aesthetic decisions I make.
My approach begins with the arrangement of objects in space and finds in photography the means to reveal what I compose. Through elements that come from my personal environment or that I select specifically for my research, I build essential, quiet and measured images that invite a more attentive gaze.
I work in series, allowing the project to define itself as it unfolds. My path remains open, between photography and other visual languages.
