I’m Elisa, an Italian artist with a background in art therapy, born in 1998.
My visual practice takes shape intuitively, guided by materials and by the process itself, which inform both choices and composition.
Each series emerges from a dialogue between the visible and the lived: on one side, matter, structure, gesture; on the other, what I’ve experienced, felt, and internalized.
Personal experience isn’t at the center of the narrative, but it leaves traces in the work. It resonates in the decisions I make while composing, in the materials I choose, and in the way I construct each image.
Composed Remnants is my first photographic series, and marks the beginning of an open-ended exploration that unfolds over time, without a predetermined direction, leaving space for the unexpected and for transformation.
