Quantifying volcanic multi-hazard risk to better understand and reduce impacts on society.
I am Elinor, a natural hazards researcher specialising in volcanic multi-hazard risk. My work focuses on understanding how hazards impact populations, infrastructure, and societies across local to global scales.
I am currently working as a data scientist at 510 Global, the data and digital team of the Netherlands Red Cross.
My data, tools, and insights can be used to inform risk assessment and mitigation efforts to reduce risks. My work contributes to advancing understanding of volcanic risk and supporting disaster risk reduction.
