Students for Justice

Established in March 2021, Students for Justice is a club at Thurston High School that is dedicated to promote the well-beings of students through mutual aid and education. Current projects include a community garden in Thurston's greenhouse, as well as the beginnings of a book club.

My friends and I found that it's been difficult to start a club while in a virtual learning environment, but we utilize social media as much as we can to organize and plan for future projects that we'd like to accomplish with SFJ.

Community Garden

The vegetables grown in the community garden will be donated to established mutual aid organizations who distribute goods like food and clothing to the displaced and homeless population.
