At the NSLC on Medicine & Health Care, serving as a health professional becomes a reality. While at the NSLC, you will perform clinical rounds, learn medical examination and surgical techniques, and participate in diagnosis and treatment while solving the mystery of a fatal outbreak sweeping the nation. You and your team will grapple with controversial medical issues, learn about today’s health care challenges and explore advanced scientific research in areas such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.
At the NSLC on Nursing, you will develop the skills necessary to provide high quality patient‐centered health care, gain insight into the careers available within nursing, and gain hands-on-experience with the kinds of challenges nurses face daily. You and your peers will spend time in state-of-the-art simulation labs, learning the techniques nurses use with their patients.

The Young Doctor Summer Internship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for aspiring medics to undertake the work experience of their dreams in London. Over the course, you will dive into the heart of life at a London hospital, shadowing doctors and practising medical tasks that students would never normally be able to experience before medical school. Also available on the internship are immersive medical visits to Prague, the University of Oxford, and some of London’s pioneering digital health companies.
The Emory Pre-College Program is a summer academic program for high school students. It gives current sophomores and juniors an exciting glimpse of academic and residential life at a top-ranked national university.
High school students may explore topics with professors who are the leading experts in their fields, whether for two or six weeks.
Over 30+ two-week noncredit courses will be available for students to enroll in classes with their peers.
Students wishing to earn credit alongside Emory undergraduates and earn transferable college credit will enroll in a six-week course through Emory Summer College.
The Summer Medical Academy (SMA) is for students who have an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
