Collaborative project based in the University of Verona
This collaborative project aims to advance the decipherment of the script and language of ancient Side in Pamphylia, as well as our understanding of their historical, cultural and linguistic context. Alongside Greek inscriptions, the city has left an epigraphic corpus written in an indigenous script and recording Sidetic, a still largely unknown language that is probably Indo-European and belongs to the Anatolian branch.
