About me:

I am a mathematician with a passion for acrobatics and circus, cooking, languages, climate change issues and science. And many other things…

Since November 2023 I am Associate Professor in Probability (MAT/06) at the University of Torino. 

Brief Curriculum Vitae:

I was born and raised in Italy, in a village at the foot of the Alps called Cumiana.

I obtained a BSc in Mathematics in 2006 from the University of Torino and an MSc in Mathematics in 2008 from the same University. I specialised in Probability Theory.

Afterwards, I was a Marie Curie Fellow for 3 years and I had my PhD defense in July 2012 in Jena. I did my PhD in Mathematics (Stochastic Partial Differential Equations) in a joint European project between the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany, and the University of Manchester, UK.

I was a Lecturer at King’s College London in the Financial Mathematics group from October 2012 until September 2014. This is where I first had contacts with the Financial Mathematics community. 

From October 2014 until October 2020 I was a Lecturer in Financial Mathematics at the University of Leeds in the School of Mathematics

Form  November 2020 until October 2023 I am was Assistant Professor in Probability (Ricercatore di tipo B in MAT/06) at the University of Turin.
