2019-2020 FLL Season
We had a day when we invited the younger kids from across the neighborhood to the Electric Wolves Headquarters. We showed them the mission table and the basics of Ev3 programming. They got a chance to drive a Sphero mini around and hit ping-pong balls, too. We also had a coloring contest where people colored our logo. This was very fun to do for both the team and our guests. At the very end we handed out prizes to everyone because everyone is a winner!
We had a day when people from the Enginators, Team #49114 (FLL), came to our headquarters and we discussed the robot table and our robots we did fun activities such as the helium stick, a hiding game our team designed, a couple puzzles, and some Core Values trivia on Kahoot. These were great team exercises for both of our teams.
We had a day where we went to Woodinville and visited a FTC team called the Titanium Talons #11970. They showed us what they use to make their robot and they also explained how the FTC competition works. They showed us the cool machinery and overall both teams had a great time. After this we went to Tacoma to see them in their competition, and they made it to the State competition.
Later, when we competed in FTC, we had many more interactions with the Talons!
We worked with both Cedar Wood Elementary FLL teams to build our projects. Our coach taught both teams how to program over the summer. We also helped them build the missions for their game table.
