Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and currently a Senior Machine Learning Platform Engineer at iFood, working on building platforms for the productionization of Machine Learning models, Generative AI, and artifacts that require intensive data processing.
Alan Demétrius Baria Valejo is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil, and a tenured faculty member in the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCC) at UFSCar. He is a member of the leadership team of two research groups: INTERFACES – Center for Sociopolitical Studies of Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence, and MIDAS – Data Mining and Applications Research Group. He coordinates the Data Processing and Analysis Group (PANDA). His research interests include graph machine learning, with an emphasis on social network analysis, text mining, graph neural networks, and multilevel methods.
