The El Sierra PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a partnership between the families and El Sierra staff. Our mission is to work together to provide quality programs, including both educational and social activities, to help enrich our students' experiences at El Sierra.
A common misconception about the PTA is that all we do is organize fundraisers and school events. Fundraising is an important and integral part of our PTA as the funds we raise help support many of the programs within our school. But by being a member of and attending our PTA meetings you provide a voice as to how the funds that are raised should be spent within our school.
The El Sierra PTA provides programs that enrich students’ educational experiences and help build our community. Our PTA raises money throughout the year via these methods:

The El Sierra PTA is run completely by volunteers! The PTA leadership includes an Executive Board along with other volunteers who chair different activities as well as the numerous volunteers it takes to run an event. If you are a El Sierra parent, we know you already support your child’s education; please consider taking the next step and joining our PTA.
