ABOUT
All levels of riders welcome!
The EHS & SBC MTB Team is a fun group of student-athletes in grades 6th through 12th, all attending school in the South Bay area, including East Lake high and middle schools. We ride and race cross-country mountain bikes on varied terrain with an emphasis on fun, skills, competition, and safety. Our coaching staff are experienced riders and strong community leaders who believe in our core values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect. Our pre-season begins in October and our season runs from December – May. A series of 6 races begin in February. Racing for our riders is optional, but we highly encourage everyone to try it at least once! We practice Tuesdays/Thursdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am-11:30am.
We also have a Junior Athlete program for grades 4th and 5th which aims to inspire a love for outdoor adventure and physical fitness. Through guided rides and skill-building activities, students will learn the fundamentals of mountain biking in a safe and supportive environment. Our program encourages teamwork, builds confidence, and fosters a sense of community among young riders. The Juniors practice Thursdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am-11:30am.
Join us for an exciting journey on the trails, where fun and learning go hand in hand!
