Our large 2021 event was a roaring success! We brought together diverse voices from various fields to stimulate discussion about today's pressing issues.
We are planning field trips to the surrounding cities and universities, such as NYC, Philly, Rutgers, Columbia, Princeton, UPenn, etc. These trips are subsidized by grants and funding from the IEEE association to extend STEM opportunities to all students at EHS. Postponed due to COVID.
Edison High School's first conference was a resounding success. We had speakers from Columbia University, NJ Sierra Club, and the TEDCountdown stage. After each talk we created breakout room where the speakers and club officers hosted TEDxCircles small group discussion.
We organized a book drive and donated the collected books to libraries in rural India and schools in NYC to foster learning in an educationally-disadvantaged areas locally and abroad

Our club has submitted a poster for “Edison High School iSTEM Club: A Model for Student-Led Excellence in STEM". Sunrit Panda gave a virtual a poster presentation at the 2020 IEEE Integrated STEM Education Conference.
Through a partnership with Washington Elementary School, we will able to introduce the basics of HTML and Web Design to young children, stimulating an early interest in STEM.
UPDATE: We have finalized a curriculum and trained teaching assistants. Workshops are tentatively scheduled for the 2021-2022 school year.
Our club mentors students as they apply to prestigious research internships and summer programs such as RSI, Clark Scholars, and Rockefeller SSRP.
