50th Reunion Celebration

Friday at Mike's...

We began our celebration with a semi-public event on Friday, September 10th at Mike's BBQ. This event was open to all our friends past and present with over 150 people attending. We had a large room reserved and an area with lots of outdoor patio seating. This evening event was free to all.

Saturday at the Ritz...

Saturday evening was a more private event for just our classmates and a special friend or spouse. We were excited to have the event on the rooftop of the Ritz Theater!

A financial group called “The Grand” invested over $26 million into the renovation of our old favorite theatre. The Grand is now Escondido's premier private event and community gathering space, as well as a stunning new multi-use performing arts venue. It is the home of the historic Ritz Theater, Manzanita Roasting Company, and the New Vintage Church. It is now a state-of-the-art venue complete with elevators, restrooms, large screen viewing, cash bar, and completely catered just for our group.

Our food was prepared and served by Bellamy’s on Grand Avenue.

  • Mexican Street Beef or Chicken Tacos with Salsa Fresca Lime Cilantro Aioli

  • Chicken Parmesan Slider with Marinara Sauce
