1. Students will enter the room quietly, take out their materials, have a seat, and wait for instruction.
2. If a student has a question, he/she must raise his/her hand. Do not speak unless the
teacher calls on you. Simply raise your hand. This is the best way to get the teacher’s attention.
3. Any student that the teacher sends to a practice room to work on a particular section in a piece of music or technique, needs to work on exactly what the teacher tells them to work on. (Follow directions).
4. When class is over, the teacher will instruct students to put their materials away. Keep in mind that the teacher dismisses the class not the bell. (The teacher will give students ample time to prepare for their next class).
