Broomhaugh Island

Broomhaugh Island is an ait of the River Tyne, located at Hexham, Northumberland. Since the dredging of Kings Meadow Island, Broomhaugh Island is the largest island of the entire River Tyne catchment. [1][2]

To the west side of Broomhaugh Island, a weir is placed.
