1987 - Wm Low is opened at Holly Hill Shopping Centre
After 1990 - WM Low closes permanently
2 September 1994 - Tesco purchases WM Low
c. 1994 - Kwik Save is opened on former WM Low store
15 June 2007 - Kwik Save closes permanently
20 April 2011 - 7 Holly Hill Shopping Centre is listed For SaleĀ
2013 - Speculation is said that the former Kwik Save is to be converted to an Iceland store
29 August 2021 - A major arson attack breaks out at Kwik Save, causing major damage to the entire roof, and causes mould damage to the neighbouring Happy Feet Dance Studio.
30 August 2021 - Many reports are made on the fire via news sites and Facebook groups.
28 February 2022 - The Real Geordie Ghost Hunters urban explores Kwik Save building
7 May 2022 - A minor fire occurs at Kwik Save towards the car park
9 May 2022 - EXPLORING WITH SJ and Geordie Urbex urban explores Kwik Save building
12 May 2022 - Representatives of Tyne and Wear Police, Fire, and Council meet at the site of Kwik Save to discuss limiting access and examining the condition of the building.
7 September 2023 - Minor fires are set at Kwik Save
19 October 2023 - OM Properties schedule meetings to take place regarding Kwik Save, where it was argued that the property was still able to be in use, whereas the council was in need of demolishing the building. OM Properties were given until 11 December to provide further supporting information.
24 February 2024 - The building of Kwik Save is secured much more and restricted; the exterior is blocked by boards, and further security in place. Demolition was thought to have been ready to take place.
4 March 2024 - Demolition is ready to take place.
22 March 2024 - Scaffolding is placed around the entire exterior of Kwik Save.
5 February 2025 - Kwik Save's roof is repaired fully at this point.
