Sports and Cuisine

Junimo Dodgeball is the national sport of Egan. Teams must knock down all ten of the other team's Junimo (bowling pins) with bundleballs (dodgeballs) before being able to knock over the other team's Community Centre (structure consisting of cone and large ball). If the Community Centre is knocked down before all the Junimo are down, the team whose Community Centre was illegally knocked down wins. If hit by a bundleball, a player must do ten Junimo Dances (jumping jacks) in the penalty area. Junimo Huts (yoga mats) may be used as barricades as long as they are not covering the Junimo.

The national dish of Egan is pancakes. The national drink is the Cowsby Cocktail, which consists of cow's milk mixed with maple syrup. It is prepared hot in the winter and cool in the summer.

Language and Alphabet

Egan has four official languages: English, French, Esperanto, and Eganese. Eganese is largely based on Esperanto and French with some unique aspects thrown in. Egan also uses the Junimo Alphabet, which is used by the Junimo in Eric Barone's masterpiece Stardew Valley. The Eganese version of the Junimo Alphabet also adds the Junimo C, G, and S with greve to replace their Latin equivalents.

Religion

Egan's official religion is Yobanism, which is practiced by the inhabitants of Pelican Town in Stardew Valley. It worships Yoba, god of the Earth, whose symbol is not unlike the Tiw Rune from the Futhark alphabet.
