Evolutionary Ecology & Conservation Lab

Dr. Marcos Robalinho Lima

I'm an assistant professor at the State University of Londrina where I teach Ecology. I'm fascinated with biodiversity, and my research focusses on basic ecological questions regarding patterns in biodiversity and the ecological and evolutionary processes that shape biodiversity. Our research group is also engaged in analyzing biodiversity data and the modeling of species distribution applied to conservation studies. We are currently trying to understand how landscape change will affect functional diversity of bird assemblages, which involves the use of large datasets across a large spatial scale. We also study basic ecology of birds simply because birds are the coolest!!
