PTA Sponsored Events & Programs

Throughout the year, the EDW PTA host or help host a handful of events. Some of these events are fundraisers to provide additional money for school educational, technology, and specialist programs including:

PTA Meeting Dates 

Most meetings are hybrid (online and in-person). Location: EDW Elementary (unless otherwise noted)

Fall Ice Cream Social / Book Fair (September 17, 2024 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM)

Rain date: Wednesday, September 18

Celebrate the new school year with us by enjoying ice cream (courtesy of the PTA) and meeting EDW families, teachers, and staff. You can also get ready for the year by shopping at the book fair.

Conference Meals (Fall & Spring)

The PTA organizes a meal for staff during conferences, so they can focus on meeting with families. 

Family Game Night (Jan 10, 2025)

Families are invited for a night of fun & games at EDW! 

Read-a-thon (Jan 24 - Feb 14, 2025)

Our annual event to get students reading! Students track their reading minutes and work together to reach a school reading goal of 500,000 total minutes. Family and friends are asked to support our students reading through donations. 

Online Safety & Movie Night (March 27, 2025)

Discuss online safety with families while students enjoy a movie at EDW.

Spring Fling - Family Fun Night (May 17, 2025)

An afternoon of family fun and community building! Enjoy food trucks, a book fair, and fun activities at EDW.
