Zealot is a third-person action/adventure game that blends immersive-sim creativity with narrative-driven storytelling, following a young Christian radicalist in a fractured New York City as he tries to “save” the modern world through violent faith. Over the journey, the player uses inventive, constraint-driven systems to solve challenges while guiding the Zealot from extremism toward empathy, love, and a deeper understanding of God.

The November Project

The November Project's purpsoe was to grant me a better picture of Zealot's level design, gampeplay sections, & pacing. Of course simple and choppy, it still helped me paint a good mental picture of what I want the game to look like in a realistic view.

Initial Art Demo

9/28/25 - 10/28/25

The Initial Art demo was spent planning a lot of basic ideas down for the art, while working on the code of the game. This image is heavy WIP, but it was a good testing ground while I work out shaders, and texturing.

Greybox Demo

9/14/25 - 9/28/25

The Greybox Demo was just a test and basically laying down the base infrastructure of the game. All assets, code, animations, and the character model were done by me. Most of the project was more about planning future features, and where I want to go with this project.

The Demo features player movement with rough animations, ranged combat, and enemies with actual AI that tries to find cover points based on player position and some other factors.
