SEN Consulting Asia is an independent consultancy advising and supporting parents and schools in relation to Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans, and Statements of Special Educational Needs (SEN). We use universally approved psychometric tests to carry out SEN assessments for children with learning difficulties in order to help parents and schools provide appropriate care and intervention. We also provide schools with SEND & Inclusion Reviews, support and training.

Edward manages assessments for SEN Consulting Asia and has over 20 years of experience working as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), Teacher, HoD and Trainer in the UK and South East Asia. He has the following qualifactions: MEd SEND (2020), M. Psych (pending June 2025) AAC, CCET, NaSENCO (2028), PGCE with QTS (2003), BSc Combined Sciences [hons]. Edward is also a registered ADHD Coach and Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Edward has experience in working within the SEND and Disability Code of Practice and schools processes and expectations relating to this. He uses this experience to help progress discussions and negotiations between families and schools, promoting better understanding of concerns and the issues, so that appropriate decisions can be made.
Edward is accredited to carry out Access Arrangements for students entering public examinations: GCSE, GNVQ, AEA, Entry Level, Basic Skills and Key Skills. Edward also has a National Award in SEND Coordination from the University of Nottingham and a Master's Degree in SEND from Middlesex University as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), A BSc (hons) in Environmental Sciences and attained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. He has carried out extensive research on SEND and Differentiation in South East Asia and worked as a Head of Department for a number of years at leading International Schools in South East Asia.
Edward has worked extensively throughout South East Asia and has delivered multiple workshops on the topics of inclusion, dyslexia, positive psychology and student wellbeing and SEMH needs. He also delivers training in SEN, carries out requests for Access Arrangements and conducts SEN assessments.
