This Privacy Policy describes how EduSam UPSC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android app and related services.
Account information: Name, email, and phone number (verified using OTP).
Usage & device data: App version, device model, OS version, and in-app events used for crash analytics and improving features.
Transaction metadata: Payment status, amount, plan, timestamps, and masked references returned by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI PIN.
Provide and maintain app features (current affairs, tests, performance/progress tracking, and related learning features)
Process subscriptions and detect fraud/abuse
Improve performance and troubleshoot issues
Communicate important updates (e.g., payment, renewal, or service notifications)
We process information based on: your consent, performance of a contract (providing paid access where applicable), and legitimate interests (security, analytics, and service improvement).
We may share information with service providers required to operate the app:
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics)
Razorpay (payment processing)
We do not sell your personal data.
Account and subscription records are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal and accounting requirements. You can request deletion (see “Your rights”).
We use industry-standard security controls via Firebase and Razorpay. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong screen lock and keep your device updated.
You may request to access, update, or delete your account information, request a copy of your data, and withdraw consent where applicable.

The app is intended for users 13+. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Our processors (e.g., Firebase) may store data on servers outside India. We ensure appropriate protections are in place consistent with applicable requirements.
