This Privacy Policy describes how EduSamachar CG [EDUSAM (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED] (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android app and related services.
Information we collect
Account info: name, email; phone number verified with OTP.
Usage & device data: app version, device model, OS version, in-app events used for crash analytics and improving features.
Transaction metadata: payment status, amount, plan, timestamps, and masked references returned by Cashfree; we do not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI PIN.
How we use information
Provide and maintain app features (news, tests, progress)
Process subscriptions and detect fraud/abuse
Improve performance and troubleshoot issues
Communicate important updates (e.g., payment/renewal notifications)
Legal basis
Your consent; performance of a contract (providing paid access); and legitimate interests (security, analytics).
Sharing
Service providers we use to run the app:
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore/Storage/Functions, Crashlytics)
Cashfree (payment processing)
We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
Account and subscription records are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal/accounting requirements. You can request deletion (see “Your rights”).
Security
We use industry-standard security controls via Firebase and Razorpay. No method is 100% secure; please use a strong screen lock and keep your device updated.
Your rights
Access, update, or delete your account information; request a copy of your data; withdraw consent where applicable.

Children
The app is intended for users 13+. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us to delete it.
International transfers
Our processors (e.g., Firebase) may store data on servers outside India. We ensure appropriate protections are in place.
