Class Reflections

Maxime Reflection:

I was definitely not expecting to meet Maxime today. After our 10 minute break, Maxime burst through the door. My classmates and I burst into laughter, thinking it was some sort of prank. But as Maxime kept talking and showing us her tea and perfume, I realized that she would be in our class for a little while. Maxime was silly and witty, and I believe she made an appearance in class to teach us a little lesson about diversity. I could totally be reading too far into this, but Maxime made us feel a little uncomfortable because we were not used to being around people like her, but we adjusted to her antics quickly. We all played along and pretended that we could taste her invisible tea, and came up with names for her perfume. It was a nice break in our 3 hour class, and I hope to see Maxime again.
