Digital security is the protection of your "computer, mobile devices, tablets and any other internet-connected devices from intruders, which could be in the form of hacking, phishing, and more” (Vigderman & Turner, 2022).Many different platforms and software are available to ensure everyone’s personal information is protected using technological devices. Some of the protection software is built in the processor of device. Hackers can access all data stored on electrical devices and use many strategies and techniques to steal your information. Hackers and scammers are very interested in sensitive data such as “personally identifiable information, protected health information, personal information, intellectual property data and governmental and industry information systems“ (Tunggal, 2022).

Krystal: Security deals with the protection of people and things. In our modern world which is full of crime, lies and deceit, people need a lot of protection. From the banking industry to making a trip to the grocery store, protection is needed. As people, we all want to feel safe even if not entirely and having some form of security is better than not having any at all. Now, in discussing digital security we bring security online. With the way communication is done "digitally" it is risky to put out any information. Companies have inplemented different online policies which have been implemented for security purposes and in the article I read it discusses the management of digital security risks and evidence based policies that work or dont work. This is done to ensure a level of trust for online users so that they know they have a form of security that is much needed. ( secd.org).

Digital Security is very much beneficial to the online community. Due to the overwhelming changing of information, more users are almost dared to get online protection. However, like a lot of us who are in denial about the threats, thieves or hackers which parade around the digital platform consistent and continually.
