Digital access refers to the "equitable distribution of technology and online resources. Digital access refers to and much more about the "equity" of the access more than anything. Many school districts may have access to the internet but according to research, there is still a divide in relations to equity. Is the access efficient or are students still disconnected due to poor working service or poor working digital tools? (Holland, 2021).

Digital access refers to the "equitable distribution of technology and online resources. Basically, it's people having access to the internet or connection to any digital platform. The digital world unlike the physical one, deals distinctly with technological devices such as computers, tablets, cellphones, etc. These devices are used worldwide with the "digital access" that is given to individuals. Having digital access allows an individual to be able to partcipate in the digital world. For example, WIFI, is one of the most if not the most commonly known used technological connector there is in the digital world. A person can be at McDonald's but as long as they have a WIFI connector on their cellular device with McDonald’s connection, they can partner with them and use the internet. In having access, what is known as "digital divide" is what breaks down the "equitable distribution of technology that was previously mentioned. "Digital divide" is known as the difference between the opportunities and resources. (Lawinsider.com).
