• How does the 3D printing technology change manufacturing?

  • Additive manufacturing

  • make new shape and objects that was not previously possible

  • Faster and more efficient comparing to the traditional way of manufacturing (subtractive, forming, and casting) which takes more time, money, and materials

• What can you do with a 3D printer?

  • Engineers use part of jet engines lighter and stronger to make them more fuel efficient

  • Hospital are using them to make new body parts for people

  • Potential to print new organs for patients using their own cells
