Week 3 reflection- I really enjoyed this class because I have always enjoyed working on projects with tools whether is repairing something or creating something. My father is a very crafty person and i was raised to be a do-it-yourself-er. I have recently taken on a few wood working projects over the past few months and I am hoping to incorporate some basic projects for my students when I begin my career as a Technology Education teacher. I think the knowledge of how to safely and effectively use tools and saws is important and useful to anybody who is interested in any sort of craft or home improvement project.

This is a standard Cornhole set that I made from 2x4's and plywood. I found the dimensions for everything online and did everything myself.

These are called "Hangboards." You can mount them on a wall(into studs) or hang them with rope. They are used by rock climbers for hand strengthening. I made both of these out of 2 blocks of wood that I found. I used a circular saw, Power drill, router, and a palm sander. I looked around online for ideas on the design but i basically just grabbed a pencil and drew on the wood and measured and adjusted until I liked the way it looked and then i started cutting.
