Verb
Verb is a word that expresses an action. The action of a noun or pronoun.
Its function is to show what an action, experience, or status is like.
Transitive Verb is a verb that can have a complete meaning by having an action to receive it, such as love, buy, clean, send, take, etc.
Intransitive Verb is a verb that has a complete meaning on its own without needing an object to support it, such as sit, stand, sleep, dance, cry, etc.
Action Verb is an action verb that can be added -ing to express an action that is currently taking place. Shows movement as both a Transitive Verb and an Intransitive Verb.
Linking Verb is a verb that does not need an object to support it. It is a form of the verb to be, but this group of verbs requires an adjective or noun as a complement, such as the words seem, look, sound, stay, remain and various verb to be, etc.
Helping Verb has a duty to help complete the sentence in cases where the main verb cannot complete the sentence. Consists of verb groups verb to be, verb to have, verb to do and verbs group Modal Auxiliaries (will, would, shall, should, may, might, must, ought to).
