Adverbs function to modify verbs and adjectives.
It is a modifier of how the subject performs the action of the verb. One way to spot adverbs is that they usually end in "-ly"
and they are placed before or after the verb.
Adverb of Manner is used to show in what way the subject is performing the action of the verb. What kind of emotions do you use, such as angrily, calmly, and easily
Adverb of Time is used to say when an action occurred, such as before, after, since, ago, and yesterday, etc.
Adverbs of Place are used to say where the action of the verb took place, such as "above, under, somewhere, there and along", etc.
Adverb of Frequency is used to express the frequency of an action, such as words often, every day, rarely, never and again, etc.
