Edmonton Trail Community is not sanctioned by the City of Edmonton to perform trail maintenance or trail building and we ask that our participants do not perform maintenance on the trails or in any way alter or make new trails.
Want to show the trails some love? Join us for our next Trail Cleanup Day, held throughout the year, to remove litter from some of our favorite spots.
Should you want to directly contribute to the building or maintenance Edmonton's singletrack network, we'd encourage you to join a Trail Day with Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance, which are held in partnership with the City of Edmonton. More information can be found here: Edmonton Trails | Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance (edmmtnbike.ca)
Edmonton's trail network is an amazing gift that we are privileged to enjoy. Consider your impact on the environment and others when enjoying the trails.
The use of wet single-track trail causes ruts and increases erosion. Not sure if a trail is dry enough to use? If your shoe sinks in or leaves marks behind, it's best that you use the double wide, gravel lined trails instead.
Be friendly and considerate of others when out on the trail.
Do not alter the trails or make your own.
Consider picking up litter that you find along the way, if it's safe to do so.
