Edmonson County High School was established in 1959, bringing all the local rural high schools into one place. The original location was on Center Street, where the 5th and 6th grade center is currently. A project was later started where the middle school would be placed right next to the high school (pictured) and has been ever since.

Mr. Eric Stuart is a native of Tampa, FL. He has a beautiful wife and 3 awesome daughters, all of whom are involved in music and winter guard. Mr. Stuart obtained his Bachelors in Music Education from Kentucky Wesleyan College. He has led band programs, on an interim basis, at the elementary and middle school levels. Mr. Stuart has extensive collegiate marching experience and has also worked with local marching bands over the past three years to gain the comprehensive experience necessary to run a successful and complete band program. He has also worked with and led school choirs, culminating in 30 of his choir students participating in Circle the State With Song, a choir festival in Indiana.
Mr. Stuart also has extensive performance experience as a saxophonist and a bassoonist. He has played with collegiate level bands, including jazz ensembles. His experience has even taken him on a tour of Europe with a hybrid ensemble of high school and college students.
He truly looks forward to being a member of Wildcat Nation and making the Edmonson County music a special and successful program now and for years to come!
