Water treatment plant

Water is a precious natural gift which is very essential for the survival of mankind. The water available from untreated sources such as Well, Boreholes, etc. is generally not hygienic and safe for drinking. It is necessary to purify the water and supply under hygienic conditions for human drinking purposes. we have set up 6 water treatment plants at 6 villages: i) Srifaltala, ii) Purbajata iii) Sonatikari, iv) Kumrapara v) Purkait Gheri vi) Nalgora. Each plant benefits more or less 200 families and school children. We had set up users' committee for each plant. They take a little monthly contribution from users for maintenance of the water treatment plant and payment of electricity bill.

Packaged Drinking Water (RO) Plant

We are running drinking water plant in Kumrapara Raidighi, to supply packaged water in 20 litres jars to those who can effort to pay. Reserve osmosis (RO) water filter is the best solution for treating hard water. RO water filter removes toxins such as lead, mercury, fluoride, arsenic, chlorine which cause the human body to be ill. Lead causes brain damage and anemia.

The filter capacity of the plant is 1000 liters per hour. We have 300 direct consumers and 6 agents in surrounding areas of Raidighi. The entire surplus from the plant is used in the development of schools.
