Explore Underground River, one of the most amazing attractions in Palawan Island and in the Philippines. Puerto Princesa’s Subterranean River (Underground River) is one of the world’s most impressive cave systems hailed as one of the new 7 wonders of the world and listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site. The entire area where the Underground River is located is actually a national park and a model of biodiversity. The park encompasses one of the world’s most impressive cave systems, featuring spectacular limestone karst landscapes, pristine natural beauty, and intact old-growth forests and distinctive wildlife. This Underground River cruise is about 1.5 km upstream into the cave. In order to reduce the impact on the environment, we arrange this cruise on a shared boat. Pambato Reef, a floating platform in the middle of the sea, serves as the gateway to a wonderful underwater paradise. Your snorkeling at Pambato reef is also comprised of a short lecture about marine and reef ecology is conducted for tourists at the turtle-shaped ‘School by the Sea’ platform by the boatman as guides.
