Due to the increased cost of High School Athletics and increased financial burden on our families we have several opportunities throughout the year for fundraising to help bridge the gap and all funds raised go directly back to our program. New additions in for 2025 season!
EHS Softball has implemented a volunteer requirement of 10 hours per player in order to raise funds for our program. These opportunities are designed to be fun for the players while raising money and awareness about our team and sport.
This year, every player will be required to meet 10 volunteer hours in order to fundraise for our program. By doing this, we are creating a program wide bond as well as providing adequate fundraising to cover the costs of our teams. Volunteer hours can be met through events listed below and found on the Key Dates page.
IF the player does not reach 10 hours, a certain payment amount will be required. Every 5 hours of volunteering completed is $100 dollars of the $300 Dugout Dues. However, if your hours are in between, your hours will be rounded down (ex. 7 hours will be rounded to 5 hours and a payment of $200; 14 hours will be rounded down to 10 and a payment of $100, etc.).
Those who did not participate in the fundraising events or who are new to the program at the time of registration will be subject to pay the $300 Dugout Dues. Payments will be due on February 23rd to the EHS Softball Venmo.
This year, for the first time, EHS Softball sold fundraising coupon cards to promote our teams and raise funds while bonding with our teammates.
We have an opportunity to help with concessions at the State Soccer Tournament at Kuhlman Field. See Key Dates.
Captains will be sending out information to players interested. They need 10 players and we can break the time into two shifts. Please have your player look out for that text from the Captains.
See Key Dates. These dates and times change annually but are huge fundraising opportunities!
We have an opportunity to help with the Annual EGFA Tryouts held on Sunday, March 5th (7:45am - 11:00am). Times will be arranged through EGFA and coordinated with team Captains.
Typically this is an annual event held in the Fall for all Edina sports boosters. Our team will create a team basket valued over $100 for auction. Please mark your calendars to attend, ticket information to come. We plan to fill at least one table (10 people), hopefully more. If we do, our program gets a bonus check.
We have an opportunity to help with Field Maintenance for the Annual EGFA Mayfly Tournament held in May. Details and more information will be provided closer to the tournament.
Throughout the EHS Softball Season there will be opportunities to raise money and build community by attending local restaurants (dates, times, and locations will be communicated). See Key Dates
