Welcome! We are actively updating this site to be as current as possible. We are excited about the upcoming EHS Softball season and hope you are too. The Edina Softball program gives student athletes the opportunity to represent their school and community, while competing on an athletic team. The coaching staff is committed to providing a positive atmosphere emphasizing hard work and dedication where all players can grow and improve their skills with a firm belief that academics always come first to reach their full potential as student athletes.
Please ensure your student athlete is registered with an updated physical on file prior to the Kickoff Meeting. Student athletes will NOT be allowed to participate until both these are completed.
Registration for the 2026 spring season will in February. Please click Spring Registration to register, or go directly to the EHS website.
After completing the registration please complete the Player Questionnaire prior to attending the Kickoff Meeting. Please click Player Questionnaire to complete.

Tryouts start the week of March 9th and run through March 13th from 6AM to 8AM at the Braemar Dome (standby for updated times). All players are expected to be at tryouts unless communicated. If players are planning on being out of town you will need to notify and send travel itineraries to the head coach. These events are also PLAYER ONLY EVENT. The first week of EHS practice will start after tryouts and run through the season. See key dates above. For practices, players need to dress weather appropriate in softball attire. No shorts are allowed. Players should wear gym shoes for indoor practice and have cleats for outdoor practices. Athletes should keep their bats in their lockers or check their bag in with Equipment Manager/Athletic Trainer Steve Tschida during school hours.
Player scheduling conflicts, other than the noted Spring Break policy, should be communicated between the player and Captains and/or Coaches.
