A Crucial Note On Booking In Advance

A Wizard's Work Is Never Done

Let me begin by saying that There is no "downtime" in the work that  I do. 

A few days a week, I work at an Apothecary, and that counts as my "job" with set hours where I clock in and out. Every day outside of that is dedicated to either, doing work with clients, delving into further research, study, development, or maintaining record of current works being handled while I am alive. It is the depth and volume of this work, research, study, and development that is part of my unique place in performing the greater works of service The Universe has asked of me. Even in between the times mentioned above, threre is artificing to be done (creation of items for Spiritual Practitioners and Mystics to use), or moving herbalism through alchemy (literally the creation of elixirs, tinctures, herbal remedies & medicines), as well as ongiong Ritual or Spellwork -sometimes that must be performed at specific hours, on specific days. In between THAT, I have small pockets to complete daily-living tasks, like laundry, cleaning, maintenance of mundane operations.

This is not an exaggeration. 

Anything resembling "downtime" must be intentionally scheduled in, and met as a requirement for the high volume of ongoing work that I am involved in, daily. 

This is the reason why I humbly request that sessions be paid for as soon as we agree on a day and timer. 

Typically, this is through Venmo ( @EdieKeepsfire ), or another previously agreed upon method such as Zelle.

I have gently told clients in the past "This is so we both know that time is accounted for," and while this is true, the primary reason is so that I can schedule my week appropriately, including when to get rest, when I can complete tasks, and what actual availability I have for scheduling with clients. If a client is to meet me at 1pm for a 3 hour session, I cannot offer that slot to another client. If the original client doesn't show up, I have now lost work, and I also have lost an opportunity to schedule a task that may have needed advance notice to begin and complete.

Going forward, I must caution all potential clients that if a session is not paid for in advance, I cannot operate as though that appointment actually exists -even if the client intends to pay "the day of". Unfortunately, too many times I have been in this position, and it is no longer a place of "wiggle-room" I can compromise on, again, due to the nature of my actual schedule, and the depth and volume of work I take on daily, as mentioned above.

If I am still available at the agreed upon time, BUT the session still has not been paid for, we could still keep the appointment, but again, there is no guarantee that I won't have re-prioritized another necessary task at that time, UNLESS offering has been paid PRIOR to the actual time of the session. 

Of course "Life Happens" and sometimes things don't work out as we planned. If something comes up, we can reschedule a pre-paid session for the earliest convenience for both of us. I would humbly ask that if there is even a possibility of a need to reschedule, to please send even an informal text the night before (no matter what hour!) -sometimes getting even a bit more rest the next morning is something I might value re-prioritizing, if I've compromised on rest prior to, due to my schedule.

Monday 11am – 6pm (last session ending by 8)

Tuesday 10am - 5pm (last session ending by 7)

Thursday 11am – 6pm (last session ending by 8)

Friday  10am - 5pm (last session ending by 7)

Saturday & Sunday at the Apothecary.
Wednesday at the Apothecary, taking walk-in consultations between 4pm - 6:30pm
